So i'm a late comer to the O&A show who can't afford satellite radio so I listen to reruns on youtube but what's the deal with the Sam Roberts hate? I actually kinda like the guy, the boys seem to like him, and i'm just wondering what's with the Sam hate?
Sam is probably the most talented guy on staff other than the three boys. I like him too.
Stuff like the OP's photoshop is just good natured ribbing.
There are some really tryhard fans who get carried away with the "culture" of the show, though. Don't take them seriously, they are fat and unemployed.
He does not have a good voice. It's incredibly nasally. I don't mind it in small doses but the pre and post show are hard to listen to him talk for 30 minutes in a row.

By that logic you're in some way insulting the intelligence of Opie and Anthony, because they seemingly have little tolerance for phonies and fakes in general. They saw right through Intern Adam, they don't tolerate it from what i've seen, and they have no qualms about making that perfectly clear.
I like him too. I guess when you're the best it attracts a lot of haters. Primetime is similar to someone like, for example, Jay-Z or Kanye West, he's the best in the world at what he does and obviously that means people are going to be jealous :)

I think in the fall Sam will have his choice of hosting his own SiriusXM morning show (probably with Anthony, Ron, or, I don't know David Letterman as co-host), OR he'll join Triple H and basically be running WWE (and probably take over for Vince in a few years).

He loves pop music, popular culture, the major award shows -- there isn't anything wrong with earning $200-$400k a year in Denver, Atlanta, or Minneapolis. His wife/beard will never have to work another day. Those morning shows get huge advertisers, and the hosts earn money that Sam will never get at Sirius/XM in NYC. Hitting the post on the latest Katy Perry song at 7:16AM and talking for an hour about bullshit on a four hour show is all it takes.
Opinions on Sam seem to vary. I believe that the only one truly objectionable thing he's done at all was to bring the "Deez nutz" joke to the show... in 2014. Otherwise, dude works hard. One of the only good things Sabean has done is re-jiggering the staff so that Sam is the official Executive Producer (Travis was doing this job in an unofficial capacity since Steve C left).
