O&A&J + VICE

So VICE is the fucking shit and I'm pretty certain that 99% of you will agree with me on that. Shane Smith is a cool dude, and is a confirmed fan of the show and Jimmy. I also remember Shane saying that VICE is growing and looking to attack more platforms and eventually have it's own TV network. So we got Jimmy's show coming out soon (And I'm pretty sure it's gonna be good cuz Jimmy and all his friends are very excited and positive about the project- which is kinda rare) So imagine VICE tries something new, and in October they sign the boys to a deal. They set them up in a big, dope studio in Brooklyn and broadcast it free either online or on TV with a cool, visual element (the guys at VICE are hip, and smart, and innovative, and I'm sure they would have some awesome ideas.) This idea rules cuz VICE has a reputation for being too hipsterish, and perhaps too liberal. We all know what the guys are like. Add them to VICE's roster and it will immediately give them a new edge. I also believe that VICE wouldn't be afraid to broadcast them, or back down when people complained.

I know this idea is totally random and outta left field but I love the thought of it. Everything about it reeks of awesomeness. 2 of my favorite forms of entertainment coming together and forming some weird and oddly fitting combination. The show and it's audience would grow immensely with it being free online, and a visual element, and some real publicity and hype behind it. I'm not just marking out, I truly believe that the show is WAY bigger than SXM think it is, but mainly I believe that there is so much room for growth. If you took them outta this subscription based platform (where it's literally a chore to find them) and put them on the internet for free, that shit would spread like a virus. We obviously all love the show and understand how addicting it is. Now think of how many people would get sucked in, if all we had to do was click the share button on our facebook page. I know for a fact that so many of my friends would become hooked if only it was put in their face. They're not gonna go seek it out, but they sure as hell would start listening if it was easy for them to do.

So yeah this idea is totally just a hypothetical I made up in my genius brain, but what do you people think of it? Cool right?
