I read twitter from time to time and I laugh. The moment I stop enjoying the show I won't listen anymore. I never assume to know them beyond what they put out in the public eye however. Frankly, I couldn't care less unless it's brought up on the show. I don't get why people complain about the show but consume every morsel of it and obsess about every facet of O,A,J and the show staff's lives if all it is for is to produce negativity. You're not even criticizing or critiquing which is perfectly okay with me. You're just filling up space without constructive criticism or valid arguments. I'd be pissed if I subscribed just to listen to him, and then realized he's only doing 9 live shows in August (which happened last year, I think).
To be fair, the classic shows and best ofs that they run the rest of the time when he's not there are actually much better than the current incarnation of his show. Ant, Rich Vos, and Jimmy have all talked about listening to the best ofs and specials on his channels and liking it.
If someone works Monday through Friday, they work 260 days and get 104 days off. So Opie gets 25 holiday/vacation/sick days a year. That's a little less than what I get as a nobody.
