Did anyone else get a little annoyed at the Sgt?

When he first came in he was stepping all over everyone's jokes. Keith couldn't say anything about not liking dogs and it seemed like only Anthony could ask questions about his new show to get him to go along with anything.

Towards the middle/end he started to have a little fun and had more of a back and forth but the beginning was almost enraging with how little he cared about the great back and forth going on with the rest of the room. Maybe he didn't have cans on or something because he was totally different after the beginning.

**Not complaining, was just wondering if anyone else noticed what I did. It didn't bother me nearly enough to change the channel or come on here to bash him*

He's a 70 year old former drill instructor. He's a pretty matter of fact, straight to the point, no nonsense guy. I look at it more as I give him credit for loosening up toward the middle and having more fun with them.

/u/kgt5003 also brought up a good point. The guys probably didn't realize the room was going to be on such a good roll when they booked him to come in. He would have been great by himself but your right, with his age and just who he is he had to lighten up and jump in when he probably just planned to come in and do an interview.

Roland walked over and booked him after they saw him across the street on Fox and Friends like 20 mins before he came on. So there wasn't any planning done whatsoever. Would've been a better solo interview rather than in the middle of a good round of comedy wheel of death...

Oh, I must have missed that happening during the show.

Yeah they told Roland to go book him and he actually did. He proved his competence today, love him or hate him, he does his job.

R. Lee Ermy is the shit but how could they not see potential with Vos and Robinson?

The interview made me sad because he doesn't have that pop to his voice anymore. He just sounds really old now.

I noticed that too but I thought he just wasn't turning it on full blast, maybe I was wrong though. That's sad if he just doesn't have that gravel in his gut anymore.

It was pretty early in the morning, but as a former Marine I'm sure he wakes up at the crack of every day of his life, so yeah, getting old is hell.

I think when he goes on a radio show he does it more to do an interview and promote his shit rather than just hang out and bullshit. It was prob just a bad day to book him with the comics.

This is probably the biggest part of what happened. They probably didn't realize how much of a roll they would be on when he would come in.

He told me you are a disgusting fatbody.

He would be correct

Now you made me feel bad. I'd make a shitty killing machine.

5' 3" ??? I didn't know they stacked shit that high!

Annoyed enough to make a post about an awesome segment but not complaining. Right.

Just stop it

I usually skip these fringe celebrity interview, but this one wasn't bad.
Although the end, with the whole 2nd amendment rant/gun talk, was a little trite.

I think everyone got their jokes in though, Jimmy's "dont ask, don't tell" line in particular made me chortle.

I'm pretty sure the only reason they wanted him on was that Jimmy never met him which means he didn't have a picture with him

he's just a military hardo, you didnt hear him throw a watermelon joke at keith when he walked in kinda off mic?

it was annoying he was stepping over everyone promoting his crap, i get not being able to joke around but to just push ahead without regards is just rude.

He's not very familiar with the show, he only had about a minute to prep, and he's not a comic, so I don't know what you expected, but not everybody is a perfect fit. I think he is mildly interesting but the only reason they had him on is because they saw him walk by and Yimmy wanted to hound him for a picture.
