I hope they continue for a while until it gets picked up by a bigger news org. I think that's what they're going for. If this continues for 4 months and some big news org. picks it up, maybe it points out how fucking stupid everyone is that the world cannot go 10 days without being butthurt about something small.
To me it looks like they're trying to get their names out there again, and trying to bring attention to fake apologies in the hopes that it stops. Good on them
It lacks creativity. Especially since they accept apologies that aren't on a national level. I mean we got an apology from Spain last week. Planet of 6 billion people. Not surprising people are apologizing.
For all of our sakes, they should at least adjust the bit to see the longest they can go without an apology. Because going over each major story is kinda exhausting.
Liked it for the first few days, and was very behind the message they were trying to get across. I thought that over time they'd ease up on emphasizing and expanding upon all the apologies, but instead they're extending the time they discuss them. It's not a very organic topic and every time they cover it, it winds up just as repeat of the day prior.
Now I fucking hate it and dread hearing it tomorrow. Fuck this bit.
NOTHING is as shit as 'old man music break' where 2 old men talk about music from the 70's and 80's and try to pad it out for up to an hour. Although on bad days we get the old man music break plus an hour of apologies.

Ant pretending he's not black can only go so far, I suppose.

He's desperately trying to sabotage the visual element. It'll ruin his ruse. Edit. Ruin

I like when O&A strive for actual entertainment, not their humorless low-IQ political rants.

I like it. It should continue until this apology shit stops.
3 dazwah 2014-05-12
They just make the same point day in day out.
10 bauertime 2014-05-12
Maybe a lot more people should be making this point rather than demanding insincere apologies.

I try to listen to as much of each show as possible. It's finals now so I've missed a bunch but whenever I get in my car they're discussing apologies.

They're preaching to the choir.
1 Wsallgood 2014-05-12
Converted.
2 Spokker 2014-05-12
I enjoy their voices. Makes the ones in my head go away.
But seriously they would be playing these clips anyway. They just have a new style of presenting them.

I actually like the bit...
10 theabracist 2014-05-12
good bit. they will take a day off here and there, maybe a weekly apology recap instead of a daily.

I doubt this will put them on any radar. If anyone in "the media" was listening Anthony would be the one forced to apologize in the first place.

It's great show filler that they'll no doubt abuse for the next 2 weeks.
1 Biohzd79 2014-05-12
Google: "____" apologizes for. Filter results within 24 hours. = 1 hour of daily filler.
4 Wolfhoof 2014-05-12
I do like the bit. They need to cut it down though. No idea why they dragged it through the entire show today.
1 jhohcable 2014-05-12
It IS a pretty good show, I agree with you.

Fez did this exact bit a couple months ago. Ron ignored it because it's fucking stupid.

Lets pray to the gods that this won't become the next cronut bit, and wallow in the realization that it will so totally be the next cronut bit.

2 jhohcable 2014-05-12
You know what I would like? Society to move on from all this apologizing.
-4 ckb614 2014-05-12
I sincerely hope you're being sarcastic.
-4 iamfromreallife 2014-05-12
The show has passed you by, you know?
