O&A on TV

These guys should easily be on television. I know that sports talk radio does monster numbers but networks seem to be scrambling to scoop sports shows up and put them on TV, plus Sterns old show was awesome, so the formula definitely works. Everyone always talks about how the show needs a visual element, why not just broadcast on TV? Seems like a no brainer. Sirius XM should have their own channel. Or better yet, come October when the contract ends Comedy Central should scoop them up and instead of infomercials from 6-10am they can play some O&A. I know their humor and content is a tad bit "risque" for TV but Comedy Central is a cool network that lets Tosh say basically anything in the world he wants. I think them getting on Comedy Central would do excellent ratings for the network and obviously benefit O&A an insane amount. If I was their agent I would be pushing the show extremely hard on television networks considering the fact that if Sirius XM falls through there is absolutely nowhere else to go Just spitballing over here gang. This post was what you may call stream of consciousness style

In all seriousness, O&A should have their own cable channel. Simulcast the radio show from 6-10, bring back Tough Crowd, Jimmy gets a talk show, Scorch as the late night talk host. Boom duuuuude!! You got a ratings smash!

I think it should just be Scorch 23/7, 1 hour for the David and BOBO show

So what do you think about this Bobo? Isn't this cray Bobo? Have you ever been on TV Bobo?

ooooh nooooo bobo

You're gonna need to open up 3am to 5 am for the Lady Di Bub Block.

And you need room for Rich Vos' talk show, See Here's The Thing with Rich Vos. (Co-hosted by Club Soda Kenny.) Plus 30 minutes or so for the pre-show, First of All with Rich Vos. Yes, he hosts both shows. You can never have too much Vos.

Not to mention "Wake Up! With Bonnie & Vos!" It's their answer to Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa.

Scorch needs to be on Adult Swim. In all seriousness if they just gave him a 15 minute show once a week he would become "King of all Hipsters."

omg you are a genius. 15 mins of Scorch and 15 mins of Tim and Eric. Then give Tommy Wiuzssiuuiuiui (The Room guy) a 15 minute show. That block of television would be mind blowing

I would love a life coaching show hosted by Lady Di.

UPDATE!!!!!

O&A and Comedy Central have announed a television deal that will begin on Lasagna Hat Leap Year.......AhpRil FOLes

I think you're right about a lot, but I think they shouldn't go with Comedy Central, especially if it's the 6-10am hours. Content restrictions are too harsh at those times. Instead, I think because Louie has that production deal with FX, they should stay with Sirius, but have the broadcast from each morning shown on that new "edgier" FXX channel (which needs content badly) from, say, 10pm to 2am.

I fantasize about them bringing Sex for Sam back, only with an NFL Draft Style. O&A&J providing main commentary in the studio, Vos, Quinn, Bobby Kelly, and Denny Falcone providing additional commentary/debate in a separate studio, while the screen is full of interactive graphics, maps, and live tweets from fans (including pictures for those who want a start on Jocktober).

I'm surprised that no stations like HBO, Showtime, Fx, etc. hasn't tried to do a 1/2 to 1 hour show nightly just based on the show like Ho Ho had on E!. It would be the perfect show to take the best segments of the day and turn it into a great 11 or late night show. I would guess that sirius is not that easy to deal with content wise, or that o&a are very lazy. My guess is a mix of the 2. It's sad such a great show doesn't have a visual element at all when there's a shitload of mediocre podcasts that have their shit on youtube, ustream, itunes, etc. with video. I've even listened to Ron and Fez and wondered why there isn't some kind of cartoon (ricky gervais style) on HBO.

If O&A did anything TV-related they'd probably be best off sticking with a visual element to the existing radio show, and FXX is basically the only network where they wouldn't have to really censor themselves in terms of what they can say. FXX is a fairly young network as well, I think, and doesn't have a whole lot of content. I'm not sure how actual signage would work, but if SXM somehow managed to not fuck everything up then it wouldn't be at all unreasonable to do. Have two or three cameras installed with gimble arms in the new studio (haha, yeah, right) so that they can be swiveled and pivoted as needed without losing alignment, then they can just be folded back against the surface they're mounted on for set shots or if there's more room required for something. It's easy to say shit and make it sound simple, but the amount of bureaucracy involved with things like this is probably unimaginable.

sirius would never do it though cuz then people would cancel their subscriptions. It would have to happen after the contract ends. Maybe the guys can set up their own studio with cameras (kinda like Rogan) and a network (like FXX) can pick it up and broadcast it every morning. Like I said earlier, itll be better than infomercials or sitcom reruns. I really think everyone would win. People bash the show alot for not having alot of fans or being second fiddle to Howard etc etc. But I think thats only because of exposure. You put them on cable they would pick up a shit load of new fans.

I noticed that you mentioned an alot, maynardsabeast.

Here's a picture of one for you: http://i.imgur.com/kTKRLlk.gif

Hate me? Love me? Respond with an angry/loving comment! I read them all!

In case you're really dense and don't get the joke, 'alot' isn't a word.

lmao. You scour the web to tell people that "alot" is actually "a lot"? That's fucking insane and awesome at the same time. This is everything that is horrible and great about the internet wrapped in 1. Lastly, I'm pretty sure I heard through the grapevine that Webster-Miriam or whoever makes up the rules on language were talking about making "alot" a legit word. Have you heard this bot? That would really f your s up. Would you malfunction if that happened?

Some type of TLC-type reality show of the making of the radio show would be great, they could even prominently feature the more regular guys on the show like Erock and Travis. Lots of celebrities, funny things happening, continuing storylines..

I would take that. But I'd rather just see the show itself. I'm from Ny and barely listen to rap music anymore, however I do like the white Dude Peter Rosenberg on hot 97. Anyways he tweeted that the hot 97 morning show had a vh1 show just like you described. And it's pretty fucking terrible. Obviously o&a wouldn't let it Be so corny and staged but I still just don't know if that can be pulled off and not be shitty

any video OnA video just makes me angry that they are not on TV

I'm a fairly new O&A fan and I was shocked and horrified when I realized there is no tv broadcast of the show.

The thing that made me a monster fan is Video O&A, the visual element adds so much to the show.

I listen to a lot of sports radio and espn has every shitty show they have on tv (pretty easy for them).

I don't see how Sirius would be opposed if they threw O&A on Audience Network. Either after Dan Patrick show or make a new network. I tend to watch morning radio programs when I wake up (Mike&Mike, Dan Patrick). Then switch to the boys when I get in my car, this wouldnt happen if they were on TV.

I only see a tv show working for oanda if its a mystery science theater 3000 type show. Pretty much just throw videoanda's youtube channel on latenight tv and I'm pretty sure you could find a channel desperate enough to finance it

$$$$$$$$
