Every downvote is another person going to hell.

Sometimes I wonder if Stern fans just come in here to downvote everyone. Why the fuck would someone downvote this?

Forgive the downvotes for they know not what they do. Denny be with you.

The 5 Pillars of Dennyism:

1.) There is no God but Denny, and DJing is his occupation.

2.) Pray 5 Times Daily, facing Denny's house.

3.) Give alms to Denny's Vintage Record Collection

4.) Fasting during the holy month of Jocktober

5.) A pilgrimage to 1221 49th Street

3.) Give alms to Denny's Vintage Record Collection Hard Drive of Hits.

I see I have committed heresey.

OFF WITH HIS DICK!

Who are His prophets?

The Downvote Fairies have been especially vocal the past couple of days.

Because they are wrong.

PBUH

Our Falcone, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy voice.

Thy Hard-Drive come.

Thy Hits be done, on CD as it is on record.

Give us this day our daily Pre-Show.

And forgive us our fuck-ups,

as we forgive those who make shitty phone-calls.

lead us not into stagnation,

but deliver us from Sam Roberts. Amen.

Does Jesus have a Hard-Drive-Of-Hits?

I think not. Score one for Denny.

I love WOLD. You need the original "sad" ending or it undermines the entire intent of the song.

Is there an ending that would somehow erase the guy in WOLD being a fat piece of shit loser doing radio in the middle of nowhere?

Chapin during some live shows and some radio cuts would take out the last verse where he says "OK Honey, I see, I guess he's better than me...". As if it's better for the dumb rubes listening if they can pretend this stupid DJ in the middle of nowhere got back together with his ex wife.

I didn't know that, but I did know he would do local radio stations instead of "WOLD" sometimes, like "KQEB" or whatever, and the crowd would go woo, which seemed to be completely missing the point seeing as how he had just straight up insulted all the DJs at that station by relating them to the song.
