"He's 11, he'll be 14."

Choked on my coffee and coughed so hard I shit myself.

"I woke him up angrily"

Opie had a great line about the radio war with NPR.

Definitely not cringey.

One of the funniest moment of the show ever?

Yes.

Definitely cringey. Also fucking hilarious. I don't know how you can say it's not cringey.

It's too enjoyable, utterly incredible this happened this way.

Cringe does not describe something that is funny.

"Cringe does not describe something that is funny"

Bullshit. Shows like The Office (UK and US) base their humor around cringe.

I found the office (UK anyway) just really funny.

Did ya?

Cringing means to be quiet and feel threatened.

This makes me laugh out loud because it's so funny.

Here's the Urban Dictionary definition of Cringe :

Cringe comedy is a specific genre of comedy, where the intent is to make you uncomfortable rather than make you laugh.

Example of a cringe worthy individual: A fedora-wearing misanthrope who also happens to enjoy My Little Pony and always complains about being "forever alone". Sometimes, he carries fake swords and attaches fake furry tails to his pants and walks around in public pretending he is not human. He spends his days browsing 9Gag and talks about memes on his facebook page. He says "lol" out-loud. He is unemployed and lives in his mother's basement. He prides himself in his sense of humor, where his favorite "joke" involves screaming "D'OH!" in a Homer Simpson voice. He often incorporates the french word "Le" prior to nouns in order to make them funnier. For example, I went to le shopping mall and bought myself le fedora. He uses this word because he doesn't know how to be funny so he resorts to stale Reddit jokes.

The Cringe Channel (www.cringechannel.com) is a comedy site full of examples which perfectly exemplify this type of person

well it makes me laugh, not feel uncomfortable.

so it failed as being unfunny and uncomfortable but was in fact funny?

So I guess it's not funny????

This is the dumbest semantics argument I've ever been involved in.

I think originally you didn't state your meaning of cringe worthy initially. I get what you are saying, i think everyone else is saying that by definition, this isn't cringe worthy. I think what is really cringeworthy is the Dr., she wants attention so badly that she doesn't get what is going on.

great post though, i never heard the whole audio, just the Ramoning and uncle paul.

What I mean by cringe worthy is that it's so uncomfortable that it's funny. How many times have we heard "i'm so uncomfortable right now" on the show while everyone is cracking up.

This whole thread made me cringe, and not in a good or funny way.

yea thats what i figured, seems like most people are taking you very literally on this. whatevs though, this is some funny shit

Cringe humor is supposed to be not funny.

But this is really funny.

I don't get what you don't get.

poo-poo'd

He died of AMMMMMMMMbien!

Holy shit, I am in tears. Great post, I never heard this.

"At first, the family poo poo'd the idea of suicide." From Jim always make me lose it for some reason.

Also, when Jim keeps saying it was murder is one of my favorite lines to say.

"RAMOOOOOOOONE BRING ME A STATION MANAGER WHO ISN'T A FAGGOT!

"RAMOOOOOOOONE YOUR MORNING SHOW SUCKS DICK!

That was the hardest I've ever laughed at the O&A show. Incredible.

He slept in the nude.

Jimmy's whistling laugh cracks me up everytime

ACCIDENTAL DEATHS.................... ARE HALARIOUS

Jimmy's Roland impression is hilarious

That was crazy good. Thanks for posting it

so nude and so tragic
