Thoughts on Kevin Smith's appearances

I love Clerks and Mallrats but I really didn't enjoy his appearances on the show. It always felt like the boys had to stop everything just to cater to Kevin and he would just make bland jokes and Norton would suck up to him. There were like two times when Patrice was in where they totally forgot Kevin was on the phone and ignored him for like 30 minutes

I don't like his movies, but enjoy his appearances. Like last time when he came in and introduced the boys to that Kitchen Nightmares episode with that crazy couple. That was a solid hour of radio. He contributes cool shit.

I loved a bunch of his early movies, but I really enjoy his Q&A DVDs. I think he's really really good at telling stories, but back-and-forth stuff isn't really his forte since he needs a long form.
