Things like being invited to a get together or something with Erock's family and he insulted the food and called it pedestrian and brought his own dessert and wouldn't share it with anyone.

Most recently the cronut chef was supposed to come in for an interview but Roland cancelled the interview without talking to Opie / Ant / Jim because he thought it would affect his friendship with cronut guy.

Also when Jim expressed disgust at Roland over stepping his bounds he was kind of put on the pay no mind list by Opie and Ant when a lot of listeners were anticipating a Roland beating.

Don't forget when Opie invited him over to his beach house last summer and he insulted Opie's food and also called pedestrian. Fuck this fat douche.

Goddamn, you and everyone else in here is taking this shit way too seriously. Roland's fucking hilarious, but not in the "I would want to hang out with him" way. He's hilarious on the air because he's a douche, in a comical sense.

The reason why he gets a "free pass", as you put it, is because he doesn't let himself be a target for being shit on. All the other behind-the-scenes guys get shit on, and then they get flustered and defensive. Roland gets shit on and he throws it right back tenfold. He doens't give an inch whenever they start criticizing him for something, unlike someone like Erick who will get annoyed and say something like "well what the hell did you want me to do?". Meanwhile Roland will come across completely unphased to criticism and lob back a completely over the top yet hilarious insult, which gives the guys nothing to work with.

He's certainly entertaining in the way any good radio show staff villain is, but he's not exactly Oscar Wilde when it comes to witty retorts. He pretty much just mumbles some vague elementary school insult and laughs like a cartoon.
