If he gets SSI, since he's a tard, he could get anywhere from 500-1600 bucks a month from that alone. Add in his mother's income and then subtract living expenses and I think he's probably got a lot more money each month to waste than he should have.

Is SSI adjusted based on where you live like GS (salary for fed govt employees)? He could be making (/collecting) mondo dollars if he is making NYC rate SSI.

I myself am in the process of collecting SSI for disability unrelated to retardation, and from what I've seen, unless you've got a mental handicap or a noticeable physical disability, you get denied the first couple of times. After that, the state stamps it and it moves into the paperwork. The actual amount may have a variable based on residence, but I think they factor up household income, education, and stuff like how well they can provide for themselves. That's what's going into it in my case. Not sure about mental handicaps though.
