Ralphie was super annoying in studio and would scream-laugh into the microphone anytime anybody said anything. Ant got drunk and talked about this during a "live from the compound" broadcast. The next day the boys talked about it on air. Main point was that they found him more annoying than funny.
I believe it was Thanksgiving 04. Early XM show. It was a nuts show with Ralphie, strippers and jagermeister. One of the girls later said after the show she was raped or something and the cops were called. Ralphie went out to talk to the cops and the cop turned out to be a Ralphie May fan and the whole thing went away with a warning or something. From that moment on, Ralphie is under the impression he "saved the show" and liked to remind O&A of it.

Also if I remember correctly the whole thing was pretty much going away on its own but Ralphie injected himself into the situation as the savior. It was cool of him to do but it was also most likely unnecessary because nobody on the show had done anything wrong anyways.
I think they were all being polite cause Jimmy tends to not like to disrespect comics that he gets along with when they come in and I think Ant was the only one who was truly annoyed (besides the listeners). Plus, allegedly, that's just the way Ralphie laughs so that'd be like having a guest in and then telling him his voice is annoying. If he can't help it it's just dickish to point it out to him.

And telling someone like hey, lean back from the mic abit its loud, or just fix the volume for them.
I know eventually they had Ralphie call in and they kept hanging up on him and shit (that old gag). I don't remember the extent of the call though. I'm pretty sure they did address the shit that Ant said and I'm also pretty sure it was a day when Norton wasn't in studio.

That's a great compilation. The only thing it's missing is the first time Ralphie May called in forever, and Opie kept hanging up on him and the Instant Feedbackers kept making jokes about Ralphie being fat and his family dying in a plane crash. So uncomfortable, so epic.
Now the blueberry isn't one that can work on its own. It has to have something with like the kiwi...it's not uh...a...stand-...a stand-alone uh........stand-alone fruit.
I believe a lion has a beard....I think that mane goes into, sideburns and stuff.......... so I would think that would be another animal that falls into the beard category................................ or at least some sort of 70's hairdo where it's kinda, it looks blown-dried, and, uh, with the big, uh, mutton chops.......... but it IS an animal with facial hair... I don't think it's part of the goat family..... and even though it's not hair, I would say that a turkey, looks like it has a beard.... with that red stuff that just hangs below it.... below it's chin, below it's beak........ so that's all I was gonna say....................................................... that was all I had.
As far as Seth Rogen, I don't think he can help that. That's the way he laughs - like Maria Menuonos (I find her incredibly annoying).
Anthony said that he thought Gervais was overdoing the laugh during the RGS podcasts (which became the animated show on HBO). I think then when he came in studio, he realized Ricky just laughs like that. Ralphie May was doing it in a way that seemed he was pumping it up for no reason.
I'll give Ralphie credit though. He was obviously listening or someone close to him was because he called in during that same show to address it.
