How do non-XM fans listen?
0 2014-04-09 by red_eleven
I just canceled my two XM accounts after 10 years. Really it was mostly for OnA. I'm working my way thru podcasts and starting to run out of material.
How do you nonXM-ers listen to the shows?

I love how they think we'll just tell them the magic. NICE TRY SIRIUSXM.

I don't want to know where you get torrents of recent shows.

I duct tape a giant ear trumpet to my head daily. It works, but it is slightly tiring.
3 ENTROPYLOVESVAG 2014-04-09
Get it from Ted's Giant Ear Trumpet Emporium?

YES GREGORY

Type sirius sonos 30 day trial. Keep making new email addresses every month. No card required.
EDIT: Link for the extremely lazy, and cuz I'm a nice guy.

I did this for the longest time.
Now I just wait for my good friend mr Logan nothighpriest.
I would however felate Steven knight for eternity if I ever met the fella.

Yea been doing this for over a year. When i first started, it was actually only a 7 day free trial. Then they moved it to 30 day which was a lot better.
2 Happy_ScrappyHeroPup 2014-04-09
Wtf... Sirius obviously knows you can do this, so why don't they care?
1 Biohzd79 2014-04-09
I don't know. Plus you can create email Alias pretty easily. No need to do new Sign Up's.
2 red_eleven 2014-04-09
Thanks for this. That was too easy.

I've heard about all the bugs with the app, but this is sweet! I can rewind or fast forward in the shows. I always had it attached to my cars but now I can just use my phone app anywhere.

Thanks for the tip! I was using paltalk which can be sketchy, this is perfect.

If you ask nicely Opie will come to your home or office and read the transcript of the days show to you live and in person.

I'm a subscriber because I want to support OnA and RnF. I listen live when I can but I download the show daily so I can easily listen to the show without dealing with any app or on demand bullshit.
Love the boys but hate SXM. It didn't take me long to find a source.
I can PM a link if you still need one.
5 majestik6 2014-04-09
Same here. I've owned two or three XM radios, but what's the point? The people that update the pirate sites do a better job at streaming the show than XM does.
I still pay for a subscription, and I have XM in my car.

yeah if anyone post actual links you are retarded, but obviously youtube is a good start..

Im guessing you're not a Joe Rogan fan, because he has over 300 three hour podcasts. Ari Shaffir has a ton of great one too.
1 red_eleven 2014-04-09
No. I like Rogan too but he's just not an everyday all day listen for me like the boys are. I like the smodcast stuff too but just sometimes I've heard enough about getting high and fleshlighting.

I got hooked up with a live stream. Also, blog sites for download.
2 MrSerialX 2014-04-09
Carefully.. you don't want to get downvoted by the jealous faggots in this sub that don't have access to FREE streams just because you answered honestly.
1 Spokker 2014-04-09
I would pay if they went independent and did a live show with call ins on the Internet (not a podcast). Tom Leykis is doing this.
But otherwise I'll steal the show because Sirius and XM are pretty shitty overall. Sometimes they even leave the commercials in on pirated versions anyway, and so much of the show has become an infomercial anyway.
1 Skylinerr 2014-04-09
Pirated sources. There are lots of streaming and download options available. If you can't find them you havent looked too hard
0 SergeantFartbox 2014-04-09
Daily YouTube uploads. I've never listened to a live show in my life
3 tibber2 2014-04-09
Same here. A friend of mine who's a subscriber got me hooked.

sign up for free month of audible. Get show on there for free for a month. During the member trial you can buy a 12 month subscription of the show for 48.96.
Audible is not always updated on time so you can fill in the gaps guilt free using youtube and so on. Or don't even use audible but know you actually paid for the show. I find the app is pretty handy on IOS.

I tried looking for the youtube clip where they put one of those "hold listeners" on, not knowing why he was on hold for hours, they just took him randomly, and he was like "oh I was just listening to the show," and after some confusion it was revealed that people do this pretty regularly.
Can't find the clip though.

I remember that "caller" saying he's been listening to the show that way for 2 years. I wonder if they cracked down on that type of thing.
1 jhohcable 2014-04-09
I sort of hope not, because it's the show intentionally fucking with their own company.

Someone downvoted this because I answered the question posed in the subject.

easy enough to setup dummy email accounts for never ending 30 day siriusxm internet trials.

Pretty great O&A blog puts up shows everyday about an hour after they're over.
1 [deleted] 2014-04-09
I use these guys a lot, Ron and Fez can be found this way, too.
If you have Usenet access, the show is posted in the O&A newsgroup daily, too, and they tend to post a lot of the old stuff too.
-8 MrSerialX 2014-04-09
A private stream of the channel with various other streams as backups if the main one goes down
edit: The downvotes are hilarious but typical of this sub.. answer a question, stay on topic, follow rules, get downvoted. Lol.

Reddit is a gay website of queebs.
2 MrSerialX 2014-04-09
Can't say all of Reddit is but definitely this sub for sure.
1 jhohcable 2014-04-09
Sadly I would say this is probably the best sub on reddit.
Reddit has a pretty big reputation for being full of memespewing teen girls and neckbeard dork guys who watch gay ass cartoons.
