Used to be a big fan of Bill. I feel like he only criticizes groups of people who are not protected under the realm of political correctness. He has created this illusion of being edgy when in reality the only people he's making fun of is white stay-at-home moms. He never says anything truly controversial and I honestly think his goal in comedy is to have some sort of mass appeal. I eventually just reached a point where I got tired of hearing how marriage is awful and hearing his high pitched woman voice. He has all this outrage, yet his life seems very stable.The angry comic schtick probably worked when he was lonely and poor in New York, but now that he's a millionaire in LA with a stable marriage, what is he really angry about? I remember Colin talking about Bill one time and he said sarcastically something like, "that Bill Burr is edgy". I think comics like Colin, Patrice, Norm Macdonald are genuinely funny, while Bill has created the mildly amusing angry white guy from Boston character.
