I think Roland did the right thing. Opie and Anthony routinely trash their guests on the air. I think it's the reason that their guests suck nowadays; anyone with half a brain wouldn't subject themselves to the abuse.

That's gotta suck for Roland, since a big part of his job is convincing people to come in for interviews.

Them trashing the cronut guy yesterday made for fun radio. Them interviewing the cronut guy would be boring radio. Roland is a bitch.

Opie claiming that they treat guests well is just silly: 1) they threw poker chips at one guest 2) they trashed James Caan 3) They trashed Isaac from Love Boat 4) Jesse Ventura got thrown under the bus

I know it makes for good radio, but it also means that any guest should basically expect to get trashed if they come on the show. Opie claiming that they would have been respectful is absurd.

I'm trying to think of any guests they've been nice to. All I can think of are MMA fighters. They're shitty to everyone else. Even comedians. But at least comedians know how to fight back, a baker from New York will get buried by the bbbbboyz.

So Roland's a bitch for canceling the guy that would've made boring radio? I don't get the foodie thing, but Jimmy would never mock another comic's work for an hour, let alone the day before he was booked to come in. I don't know why they were so incensed.

I'm on Roland's side on this one. He always has to clean up after Opie and Anthony spew their mean shut about the guests. A lot if times it isn't even funny when they talk shit and the fans get on twitter and say even worse and more hateful things to get attention.

They have to understand that their brand of mean humor isn't something that is going to make it easy to get good guests. I was getting mad at Opie acting like Roland should be able to keep a guest on after an hour of shit talk and an afternoon of horrible tweets from fans. If I were Roland, I would've done the same thing. They've made it hard for him for years by talking their shit.
