Opie's "fat envelopes"

0  2014-03-31 by xxthro

On Wednesday 3/26, the boys gave Samsung a 40-minute "editorial" endorsement after receiving freebies from the company. During this, Opie mentioned that while he loved receiving such freebies, he also didn't mind an envelope of cash instead.

Since accepting off-the-books cash is illegal, obviously the acting job would have to be better when he spoke about the product on-air.

Have there been any companies you recall being oddly shoehorned into a broadcast repeatedly within the last few years?

If I didn't have one, I'd be more bothered by his rambling, but fuck is that thing great.

Do you add a boost?

A bjëust?

Just a few blubreeze

Agreed. It's an awesome invention.

I'm sure whatever company put out Belle Knox video threw them a few bucks for a softball interview.

Payola laws only apply to over the air radio/tv and not satellite.

It also refers to music, not advertising products.

Fat envelopes? Euphemism for his tits?

The cruise the company put the kibosh on. They clearly kept hinting at it hoping the fans would create a huge stir for it that the company would be forced to let them do it..... Fell short.

No.
