Obama's reelection and some the mass shootings of 2012-2013 gave him plenty of opportunity for political and Second Amendment rage, yes, but he's been less volatile overall ever since. If somebody called up Ant this week and said the same shit to him as this caller did, I imagine he'd say something along the lines of, "Oh yahh?" and maybe tell him to listen to something else in response.
