How does Roland manage to swing all these freebie offers and get guests in...

When O&A don't even understand what he is saying half of the time? I can't even imagine what these people/guests/bookers are able to interpret over the phone.

Roland is from LA. He has connections through his parents (producers/writers?)

I can't remember the show date or title, but it was explained that Roland went to publicist camp a few summers regarding how to interact with celebrities complete with a presentation by Jack Nicholson.

During that episode it was mentioned he was at an A List celebrity party and his semi-well known as the talent guy for O&A (also helps with other SiriusXM shows if I am not mistaken). He wouldn't have been asked back in 2010 if he wasn't good; he was released at the merger, O&A's hands were tied.

As much as he is used as a gimmick at times for the show (aren't all the members?), he definitely is good at what he does.

Have to imagine he's hamming it up for the air.

yea I've heard him talk more clearly during arguments on air.

The Samsung shit may not have come from Roland. Probably from XM. The whole Watch/Note thing was a blatant paid ad. At this moment in time, I'm 26 minutes in and they haven't changed the fucking subject.

I was waiting for one of them to bring up the fact that it was the same kind if stupid watch they blasted that blob Bobby for buying.

When they didnt, I figured it was an ad.

Yeah. I was thinking Bobby was talking about a watch like that (iPhone, but same shit) years ago. They said it was fucking stupid. (And it is)

I think a lot of these cunts are paying to come on the show.

That Menounos slut did an hour and a half ad for her shitty reality show the other week. A fucking show where a camera followed her around doing stuff!

They promoted a fucking "Paris Hilton" style reality show for 90 mins!!

that laugh... I forgot. that laugh... I forgot. that laugh... I forgot

For some weird reason Roland reminds me of the obese solider with the open shirt that got shot in the last battle scene of Platoon. Shinkle bout it: behind the scenes guy, milling around, fat.

someone has said this before about Roland

That had to be me bc I posted the clip from the movie. He's serious with his job and obviously dedicated, but his voice... That fockn voice. Clever that he knows acting like an opulent aristocrat may get people annoyed. Well played, Rolando. Well played.

yea ok, i remember the video. i might even have said it was dumb then, but now i totally see it fitting.
