Has anyone on here ever made a memorable phone call into the show?

Someone called the show who was about to commit suicide. That's about the only thing the type of people who call the show should be doing.

I remember him. They talked him out of it and told him to call the show back. Did he ever call again?

HE'S DEAD!

Ya kiddin'!

I think he ended up shooting his gun accidentally in the apartment while on air as well.

I got a song I made played on the show once

I had a contest entry played once. That was cool hearing my name on the show, and then have Chip rip on it. :)

I want to hear what you and /u/eskimoescrow made. Even better if you have the clips being played on air.

Sorry, he said my first and last name. Tryin to be anonymous here... I have the clip though, always makes me laugh.

What's that?

Clip....not Chip

What's that?

I called about working in an underwater hotel and they kept me on for like a half hour talking about it. It wasn't especially memorable but it was fun for me :D

LOL! I remember that call! They were extremely interested in how terrible that place was.

I def remember that!

I just listened to that. How weird. Was that back in 09?

You fuckin' mustache cunt

To this day I still don't know what the bit was

I always thought Opie meant Jimmy was setting up for one of Master Po's "pahaps mor dan dat".

Eddie the Murderer is one of my all time favorite callers. Never heard whether he was full of shit or not, but still really entertaining.

He was full of shit.

The cops checked him out and said it was bullshit. But I mean, how much evidence would they find from that long ago if there wasn't an initial investigation when it happened.

I once provided a fun fact about the speshsheddel endeveerrrrrrr.

The guy who argued with Florentine about the NFL's policy during lighting storms is on here.

As is the guy who claimed to work in radio and got into an argument with the boys about something. I forgot what, can't be bothered to look it up.

Not this sub, but the "space shuttle endeavor" guy has also made some appearances on YouTube comments. Claims he was 17 when he made the call and that he is Haitian and English isn't his first language.

Space Shuttle Endeavor Andrew calls in every once in awhile. He always uses a different name, but O&A usually pick up on it. He called in last week to talk about wrestling and O&A snuck in a few references to the Endeavor call.

"spacish shuttle endeavourrrr"

He actually called in again a few weeks back.

My wife did GWIMP many many years ago. Of course they were right, JonBenet.

What is gwimp?

Guess whats in my pants.

The one guy who either killed his wife, or was about to. He called and bothered troy quann to pull ant out of the studio for an hour. When they put him on, a cop called up and asked the caller if he had already killed her, and the crazy guy hung up. That was odd.

I always wondered what happened with that guy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kr3_sQGjTRc The picture on the YouTube video is exactly what I pictured

the guy who called in as liam neeson last week ... "there gonna dip sashimi in my hair" hahahaha

Holy shit was that funny. One of the highlights of the Lady Di week.

I got Ant to make fun of my voice and Opie played the classic 'audience laughing' when I told them my husband left me when I found out I had cancer. I have a deep voice and Ant just did the Fred Gwynn comments!

I called to give them Poe facts. They took a few then played the silent game. I ended up talking about Poe's enormous dong.

I couldn't get through on the phones, but this instant feedback was my only one read on air.

Ray.

Any time Bob Levy calls in to do his funny Lady Guy bit over and over again

Dragon Wagon

I hope that this guy prowls the subreddit.

I called and asked Isaac Hayes what he thought about Matt and Trey (South Park) going after Scientology which he was a follower. Mostly called into Ron and Fez and called Earl out on lies. Won a bunch of cds. Defended guys wearing speedos.

I think I remember that call.

The guy who called in initially offering a place to stay for Stalker Patty, and then later admitting to a double murder of 2 drug deals in the 70s.

Also the dude who called in threatening suicide.

Not the show, but I was in on the 12 hour LFTC with Danny, I called in about three times just to annoy him. If I could have only done more...

I submitted a pic I photoshopped of Rich Vos's head on a naked midget's body, and Black Earl's head on a black woman's body, to FoundryMusic. They mentioned it on the show and Opie said "It probably the best one up there right now." I still relive the glory of that moment... 12 years later.

I called Ants Live From the Compound once when he was just getting it up and running. Ant wasn't there, and the feed wasn't on. Keith the cop answered. He thought it was Ant calling from the electronics store or he wouldn't have answered. I chatted with him for a minute.

I called in when Dr. Ian Smith was on the 2nd time. I'm the guy that lost weight on Super Shred. I was 373 then started Shred and lost bunch of weight so far.

like 2 months ago someone called in and said "peckaaaaz" .. and they were like what? and he just goes .. "peckaaaaaaaz" again, and they hung up .. it made me spit out my coffee from laughing

That's not what he was asking.

callers suck, the balls they have to think they have something good to contribute.

Or rather the lack of balls - everyone talks tough here but then when they call they wimp out and meekly apologize. You know who you are.
