the flip side of that is anthony angrily telling opie, "don't help me." about stories, jokes, references, and memories. I think if the opster didn't catch himself, he'd try to piggyback his way into an impression or two. Anthony is the perpetual diplomat, but i'm sure he's gone off on mr hughes once or twice over the years, telling him to mind his p's and q's.

Still love him, though. I think he's adorable.

agreed. i think the problem is that he's so sincerely trying that your heart kind of goes out to him, which just makes you hate him all the more, because there was just nothing redeeming about what he just did. This creates douche chills of the most uninhibited variety.
