Listening to him on O&A and hearing him on weird medicine, it's crazy how knowledgeable he is about everything. I have yet to meet a doctor who knows so much information on a variety of subjects. I've listened to both him and Dr. Drew, and Dr. Steve is way more accurate and knowledgeable on just about every topic. Fucking Dr. Drew still thinks everyone should be circumcised or else you'll get AIDS. It's a shame Steve doesn't get more attention. If he had a talk show on TV it would be great.
I'd pay him the $150 myself if it means keeping his radio show going.

I like how Dr. Steve doesn't dumb things down like Kaku or other sciencey guests. He realizes you can talk technical and people will just get it. So much more interesting than "imagine a bubble bath, now imagine these bubbles" ugghh shutup

He can quote not only the information from medical journals, but who wrote them and the date they were published. He also is much more concerned about helping people than getting paid. Dude is incredible.
I'm very lucky to have a doctor that works much the same way. The guy will call in favors and get free MRI's/CT scans for people that don't have insurance. Sad that good doctors are the exception rather than the rule.

Love Dr. Steve. He's a genius with his encyclopedic knowledge, but he's completely unpretentious and has the unique gift of being able to convey complex topics in an easy to grasp style. He absolutely deserves more widespread attention.

Steve is a patient's doctor. He's a great dude who's not afraid to joke around and be friendly without actually taking away from the situation he's needed for. People already mentioned Doc's subreddit, and he does post really frequently there. Gotta get some more traffic for that shit.

For those unaware, he does a podcast that is unique from his XM show. He also records them live and will tweet beforehand how to listen live. I listened to the New Year's shows where everyone got slowly drunk and it was fantastic.

Dr. Steve is great but I still can't shit on Dr. Drew to much. Sure he's a douche now, but the way him and Adam Carolla used to roll off each other on Loveline made for nearly perfect radio. Dr. Steve cracks me up too. Why is everything a god damn fluid?

You're giving Drew too much credit. It was Adam who made the show listenable and since he left, Drew has only gotten cuntier every step of the way. He's cunty to callers, co-hosts, guests, and probably just about everyone.

I called Dr. Drew a douche now but go listen to classic love line shows. Carolla undoubtedly made the show with his humor that's true, but there chemistry together was perfect. You can't really compare Dr. Drew today to how he used to be. It's a different show now. Also, Dr. Drew & Adam did the good cop/bad cop thing perfectly with callers.

Carolla has a new show on Spike, it's a hidden camera 'gotcha' show for shitty contractors. It's painfully scripted, but it's basically a vehicle for him to sit back and make snarky comments about contractors which is pretty funny.
