Anyone here actually think Rick Harrison was alright?

First off, he is a douche on pawn stars and the shop itself is more of a merchandise store now. However, he was actually rolling with all the Lady Di stuff and was kinda funny. If he was around for a longer segment (1 hr+) and could discuss the show and hang with the boys it would be a fun time.

I liked how he mentioned the reason behind nobody ever pawning stuff on the show and he had no problem bashing Lady Di, and he didn't really give PC answers (talking about shady stuff people sell at night, saying his employees all carry guns, etc). I doubt he will be back though after witnessing that disaster with Jigsaw face paint.

Rick is very likable, so it was instantly a better interview than the others this week so far. Watching this clip, you can tell the History Channel really cleaned him and the pawn shop up.

God, I miss that show. Perfect show for Dave, I wish there was something else like it. Pretty funny that he had the nazi stuff in there, but cleaned up tv pawn shop guy would never take anything with bad karma attached to it, ha.

Haha yeah. Much respect to him for discussing it on O&A today though, he even mentioned he knew Jim from Dave Attell

For the short time he was in, he was an okay interview. His assessments of lady di's stuff had me cracking up.

Di: I'd like 7500 Rick: I'll give you a buck.

Not being a dick here, but do you understand that every guest has a promotional agenda and is, to an extent, acting? "Pumping it up." That said, he's a pawn shop owner who is capitalizing to the fullest extent.

The douche character on the TV show is likely just that, a character. I thought he managed to be pretty entertaining for the brief amount of time he was on the show, even if the bit did kinda fall short. It'd be nice if he came back as a full interview guest to tell some stories, but O&A are likely a little low on the promotional to-do list for a huge (albeit terrible) show that probably just got signed for its 10th season.

He did well and he played along with the whole Lady Die thing. Its not like he's a seasoned comic.

Rick seems like a regular dude that can just sit around and shoot the shit with anyone. Its as if he was sitting at the bar, having a beer, and talking with his friends. I wish he could have been on longer, but I guess he was busy. I bet he has some interesting stories about living in Vegas and being in the pawn business for so long.

Haven't heard it yet. Regardless, the show is completely unwatchable with the "skits" and fake dialogue now. It's a shame because even with the scripted items coming in the show could have stayed good.

I liked it
