So the O&A podcast this week is of yesterday's show?

And probably part of Mondays show? Why aren't they using podcasts to showcase their classic shows/bits like last weeks podcast. I don't know, it seems lazy on their part to put Monday and Tuesdays show on this weeks podcast.

its fucking shameful that they actually believe (or claim) that it was a good listen

Between the guys underhanded insults that seemed to go right over Belles head, Jimmy's perverted commentary that actually worked for once, and Belle going from sympathetic to repulsed by Lady Di and her stupid questions... the interview wasn't awful. Belle wasn't interesting, but the segment was mildly funny.

The segment wasn't bad I just felt like it went on for a lot longer than it should've

Belle was interesting and believe me I was expecting it to be a boring trainwreck before hand but I was pleasantly surprised it was good. I think the O&A fans are just programmed to hate a girl that looks like her you guys are helpless against your programming.

She's a teenager. Teenagers are typically uninteresting. She was no exception.
-5 [deleted] 2014-03-19
She was a exception. Was it perfect? No, on a grading scale it was a solid 80/100 interview for the O&A show.
3 ExcellentCoffee 2014-03-19
I'm not downvoting you, I think it's fine you liked the interview. I just didn't think it was interesting. If I was more wrapped up in the news cycle babbling about her everyday I would probably have loved the interview. But to me it was just some 18 year old girl with no life experience and no interesting qualities.

I hadn't listened to or clicked anything about her before hand so I went in cold and expecting to hate it based on how young she was , looked and thought this would just be another boring porn chick. But somehow she was interesting, down to earth and smart enough for me to overlook some of the stupid things she said.
Also I was playing Crysis while listening so that may skewed the score upwards in terms of enjoyment.

A girl that looks like Colin Kaepernick?
2 hookahreed 2014-03-19
She's apparently a big deal right now.
2 havingmadfun 2014-03-19
I heard part of her interview and didn't see the big deal
2 midnitefox 2014-03-19
It wasn't about the interview, it was about Lady Di.

I understand why they do this (for potential new listeners) but why not put 2 new podcast out every week instead of just one . One could be a best of the week and one could be classic bits/shows for the long time listeners.

I agree, after listening to the kids snooping podcast, I want to hear more stuff from before I was a listener (pre-2010)
They should have two podcasts. Old school and recent
4 rjl_ 2014-03-19
Heck, as a long-time listener I love to hear this old stuff again... It's win-win. Especially when their "best of"'s of older material tend to draw from a pretty shallow well.
5 TheRandomHero 2014-03-19
This should be done. It's not much work for an intern to cut and slap together a weekly podcast of old bits for the normal Wednesday podcast, maybe with an actual introduction to the bits for newer listeners.
Then, have the weekly show recap that it feels the current podcast morphs into.
6 ValleyChip 2014-03-19
They got an extra intern this week, that sexy little number who sold her panties to them yesterday, why not have her throw together a podcast?
1 TheRandomHero 2014-03-19
She's mentally handicapped in the heaviest sense of the word....I once heard in a communique.
2 cajunjack55 2014-03-19
That's what I was thinking. They do a best of every week anyways for the weekend why not slap some of it on a podcast.
1 havingmadfun 2014-03-19
this would be an awesome idea.
1 Skylinerr 2014-03-19
O&a should be putting out endless podcasts. They talk 15 hours a week. Sirius are the worst investment ever. they're the next blockbuster. How is this happening so blatantly....?
12 melongtimelurker 2014-03-19
ackshooly - Belle is an amazING and IntelligENT example for all womyn.. and you should stop feeling that you're entitled to good content on the podCASTS just because you're a privileged white male...
(please detect the sarcasm...) i didn't hate the interview but i think the podcasts should be a mix of old and new..
1 havingmadfun 2014-03-19
it makes sense to do that but at the same time their older stuff is so great that it should be more prevalent on the podcasts.

I loved the part where Lady Di asked how much the pornography girls father earned, and she said "Umm, i think that's kinda personal." Then got right back to the intimate details of her asshole and vagina.
8 havingmadfun 2014-03-19
yea or women's empowerment but moves on to talking about cocks rammed down her throat
2 cottonsweatpants 2014-03-19
They had to be pulling a Bobo on that one, with Sam in her earphones.
3 ScoleriBrother 2014-03-19
I think he was next to her. She did utter "i just get these things written on a piece of paper and handed to me"
1 crazymuffin147 2014-03-19
Partly, you can't fake the getting fucked on a door.
1 cottonsweatpants 2014-03-19
Yeah, but the constant silly questions about income had to be coached. I'm surprised they trained her well enough to not admit it once belle told her it was rude.
6 kgt5003 2014-03-19
They've been doing this a lot where they just throw recent interviews on their podcast. I think it should be older shit also but I guess (as it was explained to me) they are trying to give "potential subscribers" an idea of what their show is like now.
3 havingmadfun 2014-03-19
Thats what I had heard too. Kind of sucks that they think this the better way to do it.
1 Clown_Shoe 2014-03-19
It is for them. You will listen regardless and they want to hook new people.
5 [deleted] 2014-03-19
If only their was a site that had years and years of their material you could choose from anytime you want.
5 havingmadfun 2014-03-19
the same could be said about their new shows too
2 iaknet 2014-03-19
They're trying to attract new fans with the podcast, it isnt for us. They put in recent big name interviews when they can to catch people's eye.
1 Wsallgood 2014-03-19
If only...

Is it just because Bella Knox seems to be big news right now and they had her on?
3 PanzerSmanzer 2014-03-19
Yep, not going to DL that.
1 phaseMonkey 2014-03-19
Do it for the numberssssss
2 [deleted] 2014-03-19
She told Ant that she would fuck him if he put her on the podcast. Despite being a little to old for him she still looks 15 so Ant took the bait.
2 Machiavelli_Nick 2014-03-19
Belle Knox sucked and for them to use that as the podcast is lame.
1 Ptone79 2014-03-19
Can I rate it 1 star without downloading it? I wonder what they were planning to go with before deciding to change to this.
1 tomj 2014-03-19
I think they assume it should go out while the Duke Porn incident is still somewhat "relevant."
1 mnap1122 2014-03-19
It's been shit since episode 1
1 booderdooders 2014-03-19
If you heard Opie's tone yesterday when they were talking about what to put on the podcast, you could tell he was doing it partly to get back at everyone who was attacking them for the interview. That sort of low, monotone, begrudging voice he uses.

Hey man, I get it.
Most female interviews are boring and silly as fuck. She certainly wasn't the best interview and normally I wouldn't have listened. But I really wanted to hear what she had to say and I thoroughly enjoyed it. She did sound like an idiot spouting her feminist bullshit about white male privilege; but she's an 18 year old girl going to university for women's studies, I was expecting it.
10 phaseMonkey 2014-03-19
She sounded exactly like a Women's Studies major with half a semester of classes in her brain.
Btw. Who the fuck spends $45.000 a year on that useless major??
1 tehjarvis 2014-03-19
If I were extremely rich and bored, I would enroll at a super liberal school as a women's study major and troll all the classes.

It will be a laugh riot until you're falsely accused of rape.

On the second day.
2 havingmadfun 2014-03-19
yea i hear ya, my thing is though that the interview was yesterday and the podcast came out today. it just seems lazy, regardless of whether the interview was good or not.
