I have to agree. Do away with the shitty Pre and Post show, give Sam an hour after O & A to do his thing with pro wrestlers, whoo kid, nicole, dennis, whoever. Then R & F at 12. It was so much better before the change, now the channel and Sams show sucks, but Ron and Fez is on the ball so far.

I disagree, the show has had more good days than bad this year. It's on 5 days a fucking week, it's impossible to do fantastic radio every single day. Some shows can't even do it once a week.

That said, I agree with the weekend talent thing.

It's hasn't been bad but they really are just watching videos, sometimes barely talking through them. It comes off as just lazy.

Also, the caller who called them out today about it. They said go listen to something else. I'm glad that's the approach opie especially takes. The fans who create content and attack other shows for them should just go listen to something else. Opie should just quit, because he drops a hint at least once a show how he doesn't need this and stuff. It's annoying.

so true, his ego is so big so he cant take some criticism and they just dont care, they are basically hanging out and talking to each other on mic and getting paid for it, like yes its a great show and better than anything except ron and fez on the radio but that doesnt mean it couldnt be so much better.

Can you really blame them? It seems like their hands are tied. The things they try to do (bus tour, cruise, animation festival, etc) are made impossible to do, thanks to management.

I blame Opie he's the one who's always saying he wants to quit and he doesn't care about the show anymore whereas Jimmy and Anthony rarely have days when they phone it in

I cancelled mine not too long ago. I'll listen to a segment on Youtube here and there but for the most part it's been shit this year. Opie keeps talking about how much they've stepped it up since Tim came aboard but all of the other programming has been dismantled, the show itself has become repetitive and boring, you can tell they had a talk with Ant at the end of last year so he seems like he's been reserved since they came back, it's just not that entertaining anymore.

I want some more evidence on this Ant being reserved theory.

Well I dunno where u get your info but according to the Opster on yesterday's show he said "everybody" has been telling them the show is better than ever since they've been back from holiday break!

I dunno if I'd, personally, go that far but I think they are doing alright. This weeks so far has been a little slow so I haven't caught entire shows, but overall I'm ok with the majority of their content this year.

Opie is still taking his cues from hoo hoo. Stern tapped out two years ago when he lost his case against Sirius and now Opie feels he can coast because of some imagined wrong doing Sirius has made against him.
