Every time I hear Roland on show all I want to do is poke him in that fat gut over and over again saying, "You gonna cry fatty?" Until he just snaps so I can hit him really hard.

I don't like that they use him as a way to be cruel to Erock, he was really mean to East Side Dave in the past and I don't like his whole food diva act.

He's not funny at all and I have no interest in the guests he brings to the show so, to me, he has no value.

Him and Dave had what started as a playful confrontation on the air with Dave sort of making fun of Roland in a way that wasn't really malicious. Dave's wife was pregnant at the time so Roland tried to get the upper hand by saying 'I hope your baby's born retarded'. Even in the climate of the show and a fight that's not really serious, that's a really cruel and bitterly real thing to say to a parent-to-be.

Not like anyone would mind with Roland at this point, he started out as one of my favorites on the show and has slowly devolved into a humungous asshole.

Both O and A have stated Roland is way funnier off air. He doesn't like to be on air, this is because he's a shit stirrer.

Overall I do agree with you, he adds little to the show but I won't say I can't stand him.

Not going to comment on the hate or like of Roland because I really don't think much of him either way. But as far as talent booking from what I understand he is pretty connected (His parents were big enough in LA that he had his own driver when he was young out there?) He worked for Carson Daily in his prime and for Kimmel for a bit so I do think hes pretty good at his job.

He had a driver? Well that makes sense. He's basically a physically grotesque version of Marie Antoinette. "Let them eat cake..." Regardless, the physical part is really just icing. It's the attitude and personality that's the root issue.

I'm not a fan of him but he is good at his job. You have to have a lot of connections to be a talent booker and experience. He seems to have that covered. But yeah, you make valid points on everything else. I hate how grown men act like a co-worker is going to assault them if they something wrong to him. Roland is not going to jeopardize his job by doing that. So in fairness it's really a hateble trait that the boys have, not Roland. I did actually enjoy his cooking show though!

He's one of the only people I feel they don't overuse. They call him in and he more or less does exactly what they need for "the bit" and then he leaves. I have never understood how this dude got into booking though, you'd figure someone who's job relies so heavily on making phonecalls would have a firmer grasp on pronunciation.

Yes he's a shitty person, and I wouldn't want to hang out with him, but he's pretty good at his job, has a pretty decent sense of what guests will be surprisingly-good on the show, and as others have said, he's not over-used.

i agree... however i think that he is a talent booker. Meaning he has to call and book publicists all day everyday and be pushy and not really care about what other people say or think. So i believe it is his arrogance that makes him good at his job but probably a real douche to hang around with.

Those are people O and A rather deal with rather than fan favorite sweethearts that can't get jack shit done.
