yeah it really was a strategic move that payed off 100%. it may have been as honest as todd's show debuting before scotts, but scott probably told his people to "call up the nagle kid. let them know i hate todd" if scott has too much class and is on an oldies station i dont think hes going to kill todd, but its clear that they hate each other, even before today. if scott figured he could swing the knuckleheads in his favor then it worked. i dont know if im giving them too much credit or not.

They are hopeing the boys get bored. The problem is now they are all in with Scott which will lead to more todd bashing. I could give a fuck about the douche that is todd but I feel a little bad for the people that moved to nyc for this show.

If Todd had any balls, he'd have some segments featuring O&A's (let's be honest, Opie's) douchier moments.

My guess is the sirius lawyers would shut down the Todd show if they tried that. That is one pro that O&A have. Their show is behind a pay wall, and If anyone played any segment from a SiriusXM O&A show with out permission SiriusXM would have their asses.

I guess it wouldn't be too hard to kill Opie, but no one would care or understand what's going on if he did it on the Scott Shannon oldies show. Where's the Dean Martin? Scotts platform leaves NO room for deviation or a "real moment". Its like what Ron does to Fez I believe. Scott would rather call Opie, smooth things over and then have the O&A fans kill Todd, especially when it's already in full swing. Ronnie gets mad or upset at Fez then let's the callers say everything he's thinking but would be too mean to say.

I'm willing to bet Scott has hated O&A, Sam, and Bagel Sex for years but is smart enough to see whats happening and is willing to bury the hatchet for a chance to see Todd fail. I dont know of its just "radio talk" but the fact that Scott said he would come in (multiple times) leads me to believe he is willing to bury Todd all the way. Radio guys, especially a legend like Shannon would love to kill the cocksucker who pushed him out of his dream job but he has too much class and thats not the way he handles his business. Maybe he's not going to call in just to bash Todd before his own show starts but if he was in studio after he was comfortable no doubt he would spill the beans on Todd. That kind of hatred can't be contained, despite the level if professionalism Scott has on teresterial.

I have a twitter account but have never tweeted; I just follow my interests. I tried to follow the todd show and their "social media correspondent (or whatever)" and both accounts blocked me. I guess they're looking at anyone who follows the O&A crew as a threat and blocking them, even if they're not sending tweets at them.

Scott may be an old eroding Easter island head but he just restarted the fire that was burning out on the Todd Show bashing. Good for him. He just got a whole bunch of us raging bitter knuckleheads to get a second wind and bury this hack before they could even get started.

They are going to do a promotional contest where the stations money was taken by a man on the run or a "fugitive" if you will. Then the listeners will have to deduce where the "fugitive" is from a series of clues and if they guess correctly they win the money.
