This is one of the best payoffs I've ever heard. It brings an (amazing, unpredictable) end to the Scott Shannon/Jocktober arc, it turns Scott into one of the good guys, and it just amplifies what an insufferable twat Todd is. That Nagel kid done did it. I still wanna see the boat movie.
It doesn't make me laugh any less at some of the stupid old man type shit, but what a redemption.
This is really kind of the end of an arc that started when Sam started pointing out how disrespectful Todd was treating Scott and continued when Jimmy became the first on the show to openly hate Todd more than Scott. If things come full circle and they manage to get Scott to Jocktober Todd live in studio it will cement this story as my favourite saga in OnA history. It is already so satisfying.
I hope he comes into the studio soon to riff a little bit more. And let's get Brutha Weaze on the show as well. And after that Scott Shannon needs to come in to the studio in October to jocktober that frosted hair judas on WPLJ.
Who do you think Jim Chandler hates more? Opie for being friends with Scott Shannon who fucked Jim by bringing Todd to New York or Todd for not even considering his old partner Jim after he betrayed Scott Shannon?
Hold on, I'm still picking pieces of my brain off the ground. You blew my mind with the idea of Scott Shannon jocktobering Todd McShittyVoiceUnoriginalCuntFace
I always had a decent amount of sympathy for Scott when he got Jocktobered. He was obviously a talented jock who was starting to get past his prime, and Todd and those young hacks were obviously douchebags to a respectable statesman. Glad to see he was able to win over O&A. How great would it be to have him as a semi-regular guest from now on? Especially when a certain month in the fall rolls around...
It seems like way too often they bash someone behind their back, then the person comes on and doesn't take great offense from a little bit of joking around so immediately they proclaim that this guest is great and totally kicked ass and "hit a home run." I failed to hear it in the Ted Lange interview and I fail to hear it here. He was fine, but this certainly was no home run.
I feel like a lot of the fans of O&A hear them say an interview was great and a guest was amazing and just believe it, but I didn't laugh once at Scott. It was a guy not freaking out that another show has bashed his show a lot. He didn't actually say anything funny or unexpected.
All week Opie has been desperate to shit on Scott but you could tell Jim and Ant wanted nothing to do with it.Jim could see the humor in just shitting on Todd .

I think the reason Jimmy mentions you SK is because you're also a sweet boy.

This makes me want to kill #TheToddShow so much more. What a good sport, even after years of beatings

Instant respect for Scott Shannon.
This is one thing you know Todd would never do.

this was amazing

This was surreal, who knew he wasn't a hack. Damn, now I'm going to wonder if all the hacks I've seen might just be oppressed talented people.

"...they've been a supporter of Scott's and respect him." - LMFAO!

Scott Shannon in studio will be the day E-Rock has an aneurysm. Could potentially be the greatest day in the history of radio

"He was always funny. Even when he was putting in the vents" is an amazing line.
