WNEW reference - La Machine?

This is totally random, but I remember back in the NEW days—probably even pre-Jimmy—they used to reference a comedian or someone called La Machine. Or maybe his last name was La Machine. Something about La Machine.

Does anyone remember this or have any idea who that is? I'm thinking this is the Jeff Norris era. It's totally trivial and unimportant, but I just thought of it for some reason.

I remember the name but that's it. I think he was someone connected to Jay Mohr I destinctly remember him bringing that name up

I think you're referring to Bert Kreischer, the Machine.
