Jesse was talking about his travels in Asia a few days ago - you know starting a fun story that is entertaining but then Opie pipes up with Why would YOU go THERE?. Jesse was flabbergasted, yet soldiered on...This is the reason Opie has no interesting stories or anything to say, he's a boring dork.

I have my love/hate thing with Opie, but I never noticed the cutting off a good story thing that he does until this reddit started to harp on it recently. Going off the last couple weeks though, I totally see it and was actually laughing as he did it to Joyce because I knew it would pop up here.

Opie literally asked Jesse Why would you do that? after he told The Opster he got paid to do comedy in China. Opie doesn't understand why this would be enjoyable...you know...for the goof...

Yeah thats a good example to counter his 'steers the ship' credit... he derails a conversation to move it a long.. doesn't transition well
