Nah man Patrice is still alive, all that bullshit about him being dead is a lie. Proof? My friend Adam SWEARS he saw Patrice in the parking lot of a Costco about 2 weeks ago.
My brother went in Pittsburgh to see him when he was doing the oddballs of comedy tour last year and said he was hilarious and as good as ever. He even talked about the Hartford, CT heckling incident which happened a week before and it was great apparently. I wish I went.
I saw him during hte Oddball tour. He's a little less animated on stage, but is still hilarious. He even spends some time talking about post-Comedy Central and how that all went down. Definitely worth checking out if you can afford it.
You sound like a comedian on stage trying to gain support when a heckler starts giving them shit.. Hey let's not like what the heckler has to say.. Right guys?
We all do...he was a genius, but not everything he did was gold. I think Louis CK is probably the best standup out there right now, but he has some bad sets too. This just didn't hit anything funny with me. The O&A clip of Patrice crying with the Up and Down game with Bobo is HILARIOUS. Makes me laugh every time.
The thing about CK is that on the pure basis that society already recognizes he's outstanding but I feel it's unnecessary to promote that anymore because he's at Seinfeld status... Here we have a dude who died at 41 who has far less recognition than he deserves.. CK is great.. everyone knows that... but even he loves Patrice and respected him....
I respect him, but I also don't throw out false compliments just because he's dead. I've like Louis since before he was mainstream and I still thinks he's the best out there. Patrice said many times that he himself wasn't popular because he wouldn't pander to executives and degrade his material for the sake of appealing to a larger audience.
Fair enough man, we all have different tastes. I personally love this video, and have always found it funny. Not just because Patrice is in it, but because the lines being delivered are funny. It is what it is. At the end of the day I got a laugh out of it.
You know comedy? You're watching something with Patrice falling on the floor laughing because he was demolished... YOU KNOW NOTHING, YOU HAVE NOTHING, GOOD DAY SIR!
I'm not trolling, stop using words like hilarious for something that wasn't hilarious. You could have put "pretty funny" and that would've been fine. And it wasn't a million other reasons it was one reason, it wasn't hilarious.

Honestly after the response to Partice's skittle line I'd see him if he was doing improvisational dance...

Who? Downvote if you agree! EDIT: 12 people agree and don't know who this Patrick guy is

How did people miss this? I upvoted you immediately...
-13 Dawkins20 2014-02-12
I missed the hilarious part I guess

Patrice: "You're bitches look like a skittles box."
Chappelle: "I'd say something about your bitches, but it looks like you ate them."
You obviously don't know comedy. You don't need laughter from an audience to tell if something is funny or not, this shit made me laugh.
-18 Dawkins20 2014-02-12
No, I know comedy. I just don't use words like hilarious for something like this.

Yeah I'm sure Patrice, the king of demolishing hecklers, would be inspired by your efforts...
-8 Dawkins20 2014-02-12
Lol nice try...trying to gain support by standing on his grave and praising his skills as if they're yours to summon. Weak....

I'm not even gonna lie, there's occasions where I ask myself WWPD...

It obviously wasnt funny enough to make the cut...burn
5 -Strummer- 2014-02-12
Or it was cut for a million other reasons besides that... just stop man, even if you're trolling you suck at it...

Ahh..someone quoting Louis CK and his bit about the over usage of the word hilarious...I'm on to you :)
-3 Dawkins20 2014-02-12
Does it apply here?
