Suspending ESDave for 5 weeks, launching the horrific preshow and neutering Sam, cancelling the Food Court, and exiling Ron and Fez to a channel nobody listens to...are not things that have improved the O&A channel. They have done the opposite.

Its satellite fucking radio. Its not an FM station exclusive to east coast cities. This is how you expand the show and get more people to listen. Also, ESD was put on hiatus. He was never suspended. Its a temporarily move while they make changes to the channel. O&A have even said they still want ESD around, and he's not gone. In fact if you go to ESD's twitter he just announced the show is coming back!!! So you were way off the mark on that one. I'm guessing you got everything else wrong too. The pre and post show again were moves to improve the channel and show. Its something that worked over at Howard. Relax. No one said it can't go back to the old way. I'm sure they are trying things out. Like I said before you people bitched when the old radio wizard did nothing, and now you're bitching when Sabien tries to improve things. Ron and Fez were exiled to a channel with shitty audio, chopped an hour, no replays, no promotion other than self promotion, and I haven't hear a single new caller in a month, so it's reasonable to say they've lost listeners that didn't move with them. They were moved because they want a channel with only O&A on it so they had to dump them somewhere. ESD's show was suspended. No replays of old shows. Nothing. Yet, Weird Medicine and Sam's show kept on going, the podcasts, etc. The only show yanked off, with no reason given. Now it's coming back? What was the point? The pre show is 30 minutes of clips of yesterday's show and Sam doing time checks. It's a must avoid show. The post show is 10 minutes long, 5 minutes of it being a live read. The after show used to be an hour of original content, interviews with celebrities or comedians, long visits from DJ Whoo Kid, Nicole, other behind the scenes folks, phone calls from Bobo and Lady Di, but more importantly it was a constant flow of content for the main show the next day. Now that creativity pipeline has been permanently shut off. Brilliant move. Less content. You can't pattern the channel after Howard's as those fans are fleeing in droves and they can't stop bitching about what's going on over there. I enjoyed the bitching about management because it is at least a glimpse into something that might be honest. If I still see the channel and show with the same disrepair/problems and there is no bitching, something is terribly wrong. I see it as the channel is being run by someone that has no clue what he is doing. He is tinkering, and so far nothing they've done has been a positive. There is no reason to spend more than 4 hours a day on the O&A channel. I guess that is their only goal, their endgame.

I mean, I like the comedian interviews, most of them are O&A guys or friends of friends of the circle of comedians associated with the comedian of O&A and R&F. But does Ron want to settle for just that? He sounds unhappy. The show is basically a stupid game (Whats in the box, etc), a couple of topics, beating the headlines to death, some food talk, and a comedian to wrap up the show. Very formulaic, very little hanging out shooting the shit. At least Ron has mostly escaped the daily Fez gay rants. But the dude can't be pleased with the developments thus far. It feels like they've been exiled to me. If it's a description that is not widely accepted, so be it. Feels like they've been demoted. I still listen to their show.
