I like Joe as a comic, I think he's very funny. I just get the feeling that he is annoying to a lot of the comedians and is put up with because of Bobby and Bill's support of him. Every time he's on O&A I just see a side to him that I don't get how he meshes with our usual group of comics (Jimmy, Colin, Keith, etc). The guy just doesn't have a thick skin and can't take a joke very well. Look at his fights with Troy, Dr. Steve etc. it starts out as just a playful volley of insults but then it ends up with Joe getting trounced. Sometimes I wonder if I mistake his sensitivity for him being standoffish, and he uses it as an excuse to get attention and praise from the guys, but it just ends up coming back to smack him in the face. I like the guy, don't get me wrong. I just think that in an environment like O&A, he stumbles over himself and takes things too personal. I think it's obvious that Opie and Anthony like him however. He seems to be a drinking buddy to Anthony. And Opie's done a lot of his shit. But Opie is aware of his thin skin and he takes full advantage of this on air (The Push-Up Debacle). I wonder how he would have done on Tough Crowd.

DeRosa was on Eddie Ifft's podcast recently where he admitted to being a huge 'Sex and (or in, i'm not sure) the City fan'. Surely he needs pressing on this matter to Billy or O&A so they can rightfully tear him a new arsehole. Eddie just kind of got a few shots in, let it slide and allowed him to justify himself.
