He always wanted his own show, this could be the one to finally get green lit. Maybe also do it with 3 other single comedians in their 40's. He should pitch it to Comedy Central or IFC or whatever.

No way. For one thing, TV is a little more sophisticated than this now. This is like graveyard TV programming 10+ years ago. Secondly, the only way a comedian becomes successful on TV is through their creativity and personal connections - this leverages neither of those. Thirdly, Jimmy is better off moving away from hack shit like this if he wants to be on TV. Something where he can be witty or have a mixed comedy & serious interview-style show would be better. He doesn't need to be on a Blind Date copycat show - that would suck.

I agree with your points. But I'd still watch, and if any comedian who'd make it work with improv off-the-wall comedy it'd be Jimmy. Who knows, maybe the networks will never give him a real chance at a real comedy or serious show and this may be his only chance with any show concept. Yes, Jimmy is better than this and should be doing better things than reality TV, but he also isn't getting any younger either.

Hate to say it, but Jimmy needs to make his own breaks. Most any show or program with a comedian in the lead role was created by and/or is written by that comedian, and if they're a guest or sidekick then that comedian is friends with someone on the show or behind the scenes. As much as I would love to see him doing something on TV and being as funny as I know he can be, it's really up to him at the end of the day. Making Vine videos all day and being silly isn't going to get him there.
