Opie's new laugh

What the fuck is this new laugh Opie does now. He's been doing it for he last couple of months. It's not the same one as when jimmy or ant will say something genuinely funny or when he laughs at roland, you can tell that's real. He usually does it when he is trying to seem cool, tough and always when he talks about stern or is making fun of someone. It's this strange stuttered wheezy running out of breathe laugh that fucking drives me insane. You can tell he is putting it on and you can almost hear him listening to himself through the mic. It's similar to the low rumbling noises he makes into the mic.

I fucking hate this guy with a passion. He really is a complete dunderhead. He lacks any kind of self awareness and is so self absorbed its not real. Last week he actually said with a straight face " I was so fucking good looking". Who says that about themselves?

In his mind he is this gorgeous intelligent athlete who should be as famous as stern.

I love the show but this dud really makes it hard sometimes.

Is anyone else driven bonkers by this horrible laugh?

I agree that the Opster has his annoying idiosyncrasies, but I think you're reading into his self-obsessed comments a bit too much. If you're referring to the comment I think you are, I think Op was being sarcastic. But that's just me.

Opie is the Achilles heal of opie and anthony. it's undeniable. The kids, the constant teasing, the interrupting of conversation, the thinking he has a opinion that hasn't been regurgitated a 1000 times, etc. He's become a hole.

I haven't noticed this laugh OP speaks of, but I'm sure now that i know about it, I'll fixate on it and add it to my list. Or OP is blinded by Opie hate and he's completely insane.

Same here. He is my favorite on the show. Talking over Jim is the only thing that bothers me.

I was listening to an old show the other day and it was during Opies "I'm an actooor" phase. He repeated it throughout the entire show whithout anyone asking him about it which he obviously wanted so each time he kept giving more information about how he's not an actor he's an "actooor." He has to have some gross gimmick, he cannot help himself.
