Opie has a constant video feed on a tiny monitor so he can see what the board operator is doing at all times. The operator also constantly talks to the hosts via their headphones to remind them of things and gives them general feedback. (Travis used to do that too) Among other things of course.
I think Erock did an amazing job when he ran the board. He could pull old audio almost instantly and had great timing and good feel for the whole thing. Go to break chippah, anarchy radio, wedding gift tease etc. are all bits that probably would not exist if he wasn't running the board.
I don't know but he took an unfair beating the other day for the Dr. Ian stuff. It was clear that Roland was the one who was truly mushroom stamped, not a joint effort.
IIRC, before the Christmas break it was mentioned that Erock was going to be doing other things for the show for awhile. It seemed up in the air if he was going to be back on the board or not.
E rock does the archiving of the show so naturally he'd be better on the board when it comes to finding stuff. I'm sure ebooks archiving is completely detailed in a confusing way no one else can understand
