I really wish they would hire Pat or at least have him on the show more. He was willing to do anything without being obnoxious about it like ES Dave would be sometimes. Plus I miss his giant ball bag.
True, but he's still capable of doing stunts in this day and age that still legitimately shock (drinking from the bloody puke bowl a couple of years ago? Are you out of your mind?) That's very impressive in its own right considering how desensitized we are to everything.
He wants a "viral" video sooo bad, but he'll never have one for that precise reason. His only hope is to stop going for funny videos, because he isn't particularly funny and has no timing.
Opie spends a lot of time around professionally funny celebrities, but somehow he never gets any funnier. He tries to copy Jimmy's style, but just like when the listeners do it, he just comes off as a mean psychopath. I feel like I can relate to Opie because I'm also a big dork who tries too hard and no one likes me.
I've always felt like I understand Opie and why he acts the way he does. I'm the same way. I think I'm a nice guy and I try to help people out whenever I can, but I'm also really self conscious and try really hard to be cool and liked. I was really bad about that in high school and college, especially.
Just like Opie, I've caught myself telling exaggerated stories of the hardships I've faced, but even the exaggeration isn't very impressive. I also used to be a jerk to people and tell shocking "jokes" a lot. The problem is peoples impression of me isn't as charming as my impression of myself is, and they don't see the wretched shit that came out of my mouth as the cute contradiction of a well meaning nice-guy saying shocking things for a goof.

Fucking Whoo Kid just scurries off at the end. "Fuck it I'm out of here." Pretty funny

Yeah but he's only a stuntboy, he doesn't have any funny lines.

Love how he calls the video "viral" in his tweet. It's been online for an hour and a half...settle down Opester.
That said, Pat Duffy deserves a job. He'd fill in the crazy/over the top Troyquan void rather nicely IMO...

When the fuck was Troy crazy? Pay Duffy brushed his teeth with dog shit and stapled gunned himself in the skull.
Troy took his clothes off and hopped into bed with another guy.

That was a really intense moment of self-realization you had there at the end.
