I think Jimmy has to make it up to the next level before that would happen. Jimmy is ultimately a road hack, and not really in the same class as Carl Reiner and Louie CK.
On jerry Seinfeld's AMA someone asked him what comedians he'd like to get on the show and he said he had been watching bill burr on YouTube and wanted to get him on the next round of shows.
So that'll be cool if it happens.
Yeah, Lady Trucker baffled me with this thread. This is as stupid as that guy on this sub a few weeks ago who wanted to know how "we" book guests on the show because he wanted his anti-gun friend to debate Ant on the show.
I think the point of the show is that Seinfeld only has people on that he wants to talk to, so you wouldn't get someone like Jimmy on the show. But he did say that he'd like to have Burr on.
No he's not. Jimmy is brilliantly quick and witty; but, at his core, he's a shock/cringe comic who has been doing essentially the same jerking off/prostitute/tranny jokes for 20+ years. His material isn't smart enough or thought provoking enough to get any significant mainstream following. Jerry gets big time stand-up comedians or legends in the profession. I doubt they'd be able to have an interesting conversation.
Great question ConspiracyMomma, it shows how you're a great critical thinker. First of all, I haven't watched Jerry's show, but I've heard wonderful things about it. I wish him all the best. Secondly, I think we should do everything we can to help out Jimmy, because he's given us many hours of laughter. It's the least we can do.

Jimmy is Z list. He will never be on there

Louis CK did an episode and I think he's still considered a friend of the show. I don't think Norton is a big enough star to be on Seinfeld's radar.

In that episode they drank coffee on Louie's boat!

He's not a Friend of the Show anymore.

Well the guys still refer to him as a friend of the show. The busier people get the less they make studio appearances.

CK and Quinn have been on it.
Edit: Also Brian Regan.

I'm not sure if Jimmy would fit in the show he'll try to make self-deprecating and inappropriate jokes that might turn Seinfeld off lol

How? Substitute Jerry with a tranny.

Let's get Chip on there.

I think the only person on Jerry's radar would be Bill Burr since Colin and Louis already did one

Mike Tyson

Colin Quinn and Luis CK are both friends of the show and have both been on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

At this point, Norton had become a middle aged hack who relies on fake outrage and phony edgy material. He's funny on the radio sometimes though.

Jim's big enough to be on there... I just can't imagine Seinfeld is a big fan of Norton's brand of comedy.

Seinfeld's next guest is Todd Barry, who Norton absolutely dwarfs in popularity.

Jim said Jerry asked him and he turned it down.
