I have a Samsung galaxy s4. All I want to do is play audio off youtube in the background. So I see an awesome bit I wanna hear. But still have to do other things on my phone. How can I get it to just play in the background so i can still surf the Web or use other apps

Another video showing the easiest way to do it.

This is the easiest way without downloading any extra software. Saves data rates.

Still can't believe this video hasn't even broke the 150,000 mark yet.

YouTube don't count views where someone clicks, says fuck, then hits back. You need to watch a reasonable chunk of it before it gets counted as a proper view.

ahhh i see, did not know that.

Anybody that hasn't realized that the link ends in q8 is an asshole. Or on your phone. Fir-get it.

I'm not sure what you are alleging mister. This is a perfectly legitimate tech-help video.

I use PVStar (android app) for just this purpose.

I use this too and love it. And if I'm listening while doing something, I can have the screen off so the battery doesn't get killed.

The most convinient way to do that is to download a mp3 file off youtube using a free service like this: http://www.flvto.com/

You dont need to download anything, just use your split screen. Bring down the drag down menu where your wifi, gps, and sound stuff are. Scroll over to the right and make sure multi window is enabled.

Now, when youre on your homescreen or browsing the net, you should see a little white tab on the side of your screen. Open up your youtube and find the clip you want. Then tap that little white tab and drag the internet icon over into your screen. If you dont want it taking up much space just hit play and then minimize it

There are apps available to play youtube in the background. I prefer pro tuber but there are plenty

I've been wanting to do this with my god damn phone for two years.

Android app called uListen is good, PVStar is ok as well.

fir?
