He's a big Stern fan. He did O&A because he couldn't get on Howard and gave up trying because he liked O&A so much and wanted to be loyal. Once he got famous things just changed I guess. TBH O&A could've been a little better to him. Opie has said himself that Louie wanted to be on the show a lot more then he was. Another awkward moment was when Opie kinda forced him into telling that story about Dennis Leary stealing his bit when you could tell he didn't want to. Anyway I love O&A and love Louie but I really wish they had had him on more.

Why not? Louis wouldn't even come on O&A to promote Lucky Louie since he's such a Howard fan. He only started doing O&A after the show was canceled and needed somewhere to promote.

I'd pass up an invite. It has nothing to do with a decade old radio war, it just doesn't sound like a good time. However I wouldn't begrudge anyone who DOES think it would be a good time/is getting a fat payday for attending.
