I used to defend Opie, but as time goes on it's abundantly clear that he has lost his ability to focus the show on funny bits or conversations. His ability to maintain order and navigate the course of the show is there, but he brings up topics that are completely uninteresting and lack any semblance of humor. Then, if anyone seeks to deviate from the course, he forces the show back toward the shitty topic.

No one wants 25 minutes of truck drivers calling in with fucking cheese puns! And just because the boys goof on the shitty callers doesn't make it entertaining.

I love threads like this. You're absolutely right that O&A don't care about prepping for the show and they talk about whatever they want to. In my opinion, that's what makes this show great. That doesn't mean that I enjoy every topic they talk about. I hate most of the UFC and WWE talk, but there are other people that enjoy that.

I've noticed. I'm pretty new to this community, but have been listening to O&A for years. It seems like there are people on here that haven't liked the show in years but keep on listening anyways.
