I think that Colin might have been the one to put in their heads.

I just remembered that a few years back Colin was talking about getting the cast together from Tough Crowd and O&A, then have them all take a cruise. Meanwhile they'd do some live shows and try and do a Tough Crowd format show on the cruise itself.

If they were to do this I imagine it would be around the time that Patrice passed away because it was an episode (IIRC) where Colin was on with Patrice and they were talking about doing this. It was like three years ago I think.

Another poster here made a thread about it.

He theorized that they were going to go on a cruise trip because of a few reasons he brought up that I cannot remember, but the one I could was the really bizarre phone call that Opie played over the air in December. The one about receiving two free cruise tickets. Remember that? He just did it out of nowhere and played through the entire message and no one made mention of it, except he sounded kind of smug and did that stupid fake laugh of his at the end. I need to find that post, it actually made a lot of sense and listeners have guessed shit on far less before.

I made that post a couple months back. Ant made a joke about torpedoing the idea, something else about setting sail, and one other joke I forget. It was very obvious so I called I called into Sam's show with all the innuendos and he took my call within 30s saying something like, "Connecting all the dots there huh..."

Shit, Colin was just performing at fontana's down the street from me for two days. Would of asked him about it but unfortunately I missed it because I was on a cruise, which is pretty funny.
