Why would they play along? Tim didn't really prove shit on H100 & H101. He left those channels a shadow of what they once were. You may be right but I cant say I blame them.
When they said Tim wanted to move the show to afternoons, Anthony SCREAMED that his contract said 6-10am.
New year and it's now 6:30-10:30 for no real reason. They should just get rid of the preshow and have the same post 1 hour show as previous to 11:30am.
That sounded to me like management solving a problem. "You guys don't start until 6:15 anyway, and you bitch about doing extra radio. Here is a solution."
They can't really argue with that, and having Sam live at 6am grabs listeners who would otherwise turn away from whatever shit they replay before the show.
Afternoons made a lot of sense since there would be no overlap with Stern and there would be a lot more energy. Cumia threw a shit fit because if they moved to afternoons he would no longer be able to film Red Eye
I thought moving the show to afternoons would have been a good idea. I know those of you who listen in the car would have bitched, and Ant and Jimmy bitched because they like their 11am naps, but I think it would have been a good spot for the show.
