I saw some current Breuer stand up last night on TV and it was tough to try and get into it. I was watching with my wife and her sister and I was happy to see Jim on TV, after 5 minutes I was trying to tell them how funny Jim was and then after 5 more minutes I was glad it was over. I don't get it? He finished with a very strong, "God Bless you all" or something like that, is his wife's born again christian stuff really taking hold on him? He is also madder than Ant with black people these days, also pretty new. Did some big brother hit on his daughter or something?

I saw him live over a year ago. He went out of his way not to curse. He actually told a story about going to a fancy dinner with some celebrity that talked like a sailor, and he used cute little replacement words in instead of cursing. I wanted to scream that it was fine, we were in a comedy club.

Of course it was terrible, and they definitely knew it was. Jimmy said he "forgot" to bring it to the show, but I'm sure they all listened to it and chose to ignore it, hoping that Breuer wouldn't mention it on air.

Breuer is one of the least funny comedians I've ever seen. His routines basically revolve around making faces and childish voices. Even on the show, he's still shit except for one story. And yet, OPIE, the beacon of comedy on the show, absolutely loves him.

It's just amazing how little of a comedy mind Opie actually has. So no OP, you aren't alone.

Yeah, Breuer has stunk for awhile now. Which is sad for me to say, because I was a fan in the mid-late 90s.
