I wish my husband got my sense of humor and would go with me. :/

If you buy two tickets, I'll be your date. My girl has no desire to go.

fuck i hope they do this in boston one year so i can show up
1 yeeerrrp 2013-12-09
Really hope they have screen prints available for purchase again, missed out on last years.

If you keep an eye out on ebay you can probably find one at or close to original cost.
I was at the show last year, I collect gig posters & movie prints. I was real excited to see that Danny got Tyler Stout to do the print for the show. All of the money from the prints went to Patrice's family, Stout even donated the artwork and the money he got from his artist proofs. It would be great to see them do this again. However, it might be doubtful since Danny is totally out of the picture now and it sounded like he set the whole thing up.

What a cocksucker.
1 jsimm043 2013-12-09
I would give anything to buy one of the prints that got autographed by all the comics... that'd be one of the coolest things ever to have. I really, really hope they do more this year and auction them.
2 yeeerrrp 2013-12-09
Yea it would. I'm not sure if they're even going to do them this year because if I recall, Danny was the one that organized it.
1 jsimm043 2013-12-09
Yeah, you're right - hopefully someone else can do it (just so no one ever has to feel like that dickbag did anything positive a donkey couldn't have done).
1 [deleted] 2013-12-09
Hopefully they continue the tradition of the comics sending Bill annoying emails over stupid shit. Best part of his and Colin's appearance last year.

Who would downvote this?
-17 OpiesTits 2013-12-09
How isn't this welfare?
edit - instead of downvotes you can try answering.
3 rjl_ 2013-12-09
Because of the source. People are willingly deciding to give money - whether it's for the particular cause, or a great show, or both - rather than have it taken from them and given on their behalf with no real choice in the matter.
1 jsimm043 2013-12-09
Exactly.
Better question - how is it welfare? This is giving the family of someone who provided his fans hundreds of hours of entertainment a bit of money in exchange for getting to watch a show with hysterical, prolific comics (and Vos)?
-2 Redfel 2013-12-09
I don't see why his family deserves even more.
3 thebedshow 2013-12-09
Because that is what Patrice would be doing if he was alive. That is the entire point of it you silly goose.
0 Redfel 2013-12-09
He'd be giving his mother and girlfriend free money?
1 thebedshow 2013-12-09
He would be taking care of them with the money he made doing stand up and other shit.
2 jsimm043 2013-12-09
No one's forcing anyone to go, though.
The comics are deciding where the money goes - essentially, they're saying that, in exchange for their performance, they want people to provide money for Patrice's family (and the stroke victim's fund that was used last year, presumably). They've certainly got the right to set the terms of their performance.
0 OpiesTits 2013-12-09
How do you know where it goes? Somebody told you?
-10 OpiesTits 2013-12-09
So you're going to support Patrice's mother year after year after year? Looks like another year of living off somebody else's fame to me. You're welcome to do whatever you'd like with your money. I don't think I need to put money in his mom's pocket.
5 Tuvor77 2013-12-09
Or you could go to a comedy show with a killer lineup for only $75, you myopic cunt.
2 Opiesux 2013-12-09
They should let you purchase a ticket with a blank job application.
2 Tuvor77 2013-12-09
That doesn't make sense, I'm a social retard who spends his time making fun of other social retards on the internet, I lack all valid qualifications for any form of paid labor!
