Maybe I'm not too bright -- but was Fez's breakdown this week a bit so that lots of people would tune in for the big moving announcement?

It was a bit, right?

And if it was a bit, did O&A know it was a bit?

Signed,

Thermite.

P.S. I'm starting to doubt spicy steaks were involved at all.

If it is a bit he is a better actor then Daniel Day Lewis.

Perhaps they're both method actors.

If it was a bit I'd prefer if Fez's method ended like Heath Ledger's did. It was the least entertaining 3 years of radio I've ever been subjected to.

It's hard to tell with certainty. What we do know is that, bit or not, Fez's on-air breakdown coincided with the announcement of a move that had to be in the planning stages for weeks (if not months); something more connected to a general overhaul of the O&A channel, rather than any response to behind-the-scenes turmoil on The Ron & Fez Show.

If it's a bit, I fell for it cause I listened to Ron and Fez on Friday for the first time ever. I think that during wednesdays break down he knew that they were moving to Raw Dog and that his contract is ending in April and that he's not going to get re-signed. His little "i'll do better, i promise" speech seemed weak and fake, how is he going to try to convince anyone that he's going to change when he doesn't even believe it him self.

full disclosure: I all know about Ron and Fez is that O&A talks about and what clips they play on the show, I could be totally wrong about Fez.

Yes. It's all a bit.

No. Fez is mentally ill and long ago lost the ability to distinguish himself from a performance.

It may have been a bit. The fact that Ron let Fez weep and plead him not to get rid of him and Ron never so much as suggested to Fez that keeping him was even a remote possibility to calm him down seems pretty sadistic to me. Plus, on Friday before the announcement, Fez was out of the studio for the first hour or so and came in speaking with a quivering voice at first. Why would he be all emotional if he knew he was staying?

Probably worried he was going to have his 12th heart attack from doing Nature boy.

IDK i like to believe the shows are pretty open and honest but then I think about how naive that sounds. It's hard to tell what's a bit and what's real.

Interesting theory... But I don't think it has ever been abit you could tell Ronny was annoyed!
