For example ... Hearing the word chip or chips or ship ANYWHERE you just expect to hear wassat? ...and Today I was talking someone and they said "I got a new belt for my engine in my jeep" and I said "why do its pants not fit or somethin'" ... Boy do I stink

I make Chippy jokes at work. One day my boss told me "My car had to get towed." I Chipped back "My car had to get fingered."

Not really. Have any of you noticed that Chip isn't really that funny. He just butts in with a terrible pun and just makes the situation very awkward. The guys always have to scold him but he never learns.

I think all of us do. Jimmy comes up with infectious little dumb things, I find myself saying I'm "the ____ kid" a lot. Sometimes people laugh, most of the time I'm entertaining myself. Jimmy is costing me relationships.

My girlfriend now tries to avoid saying Chip like the boys do for fear of the impending "whazzat?"

A few of my close friends are heavy listeners (like myself), so we'll "Wassat??" anytime someone uses the word chip. We try to avoid saying it altogether these days, by using different words to describe it. Example: Anthony once referred to poker chips as "gambling discs" and Chip still caught it.
Also, if someone tells a horrible joke or a story around us, we'll make that noise that Chip makes when he's trying to hold a laugh in.
