whens the last time you listened to dave 2006? he's grown into a good radio guy, his shows are ten times better than sam's shows, yeah sam is a good broadcaster but he's never really made me laugh like dave does.

I never even thought to give him a shot because that's what I thought he was. But in reality his podcast is one of the funniest I know of.

I will submit that Sam can do a good job as a radio host. As in he can functionally move a show along. The problems with Sam is he is into wrestling and pop culture. He has no texture. The guy eats chicken fingers. And he is very easy to hate. He should be a successful guy on a much different platform, Disney perhaps. My bet is he gets the slot unfortunately. If there is a replacement show it should be ESD.

NO NO NO NO NO I talked to Troy and he doesn't really have an opinion on this. He has nothing to add.

Joe Rogan. He's a friend of the show who carries a daily multi-hour, non edited podcast right-fucking now, has a very loyal audience, and a relationship with enough people that he won't have trouble getting interesting guests. Of everything I can think of associated with O&A, he's the most likely to succeed.

That's just me guessing though.

Rogan's podcast is not daily, first of all. If you listened to it you would also know that a structured show on radio is the last thing he would be interested in. He likes having control over his own operation, his own studio near his home in L.A., etc...

I don't know if you're being serious or playing the semantics game.

Joe Rogan has a podcast available 5 days a week, with each one two to 3 hours long, the technical ability to exists for him to keep doing it from his current location, and I'm sure would make the necessary adjustments for SXM for several hundred thousand a year.

Sam Roberts, albeit with stupid interests and a horrid voice, has proven times and time again, that he is a capable and funny broadcaster... albeit no ESD, they may compliment each other.

If Roland or E-Rock get a daily show, than sirius is truely shit. Expansions of that horrid advice show or a Jimmy solo gig involving interviews (albeit impossible due to his time constraints as a comic) aren't welcome either.
