I was a huge Dave Mordal fan... sadly I also didn't like that Vos fellows stand-up and it's still true to this day.

I was disappointed that Dave didn't win. Dat was by far the worst. I never watched again.

"I'm taking a piss dude.. What do you expect? Mortal kombat? Wahhhh cha cha chaaaa. Finish him. Flawless victory.. Shake it off." EVERY GOD DAMN TIME. Nothing makes me happier when years later the boys start ragging on dat Phan.

One of my favorite episodes of Tough Crowd was when Patrice and Vos were on with Dat and they ridiculed him as soon as he started up with his Korean mom impression.

Ralphie should have won, he fucking killed it on his last set on the last live show.

Ralphie I think is a good stand-up act, not necessarily my cup of tea, but I thought he dominated the finale.

Hey, don't shit on Vos. He wears Brooks Brothers shirts and drives a Rolls Royce and you shop at Target and drive a Toyota! (aka, Vos' standard response to hecklers)

That video of vos and Patrice destroying dat phan on tough crowd was uncomfortable. He clearly lacks comedic ability. The video of them going after Lisa lampanelli was a riot though...

Dat Phan relied too much on his act and just wasn't funny when it came to casual banter. A lot of comedians wouldn't be able to hold their own against Patrice.

I find Russel Peters to be kind of gimmicky in the same way. But then again, he's one of the biggest comedians in the world right now so maybe I'm wrong.

And pop music is massive doesn't make it not shit, same applies to peters.

I'm not a big fan of Russell's standup, but I thought he was funny while on O&A

Plus Dat Phan's act was entirely MY CRAZY ASIAN FAMILY stuff.

I don't care for Peters, I don't know why he's so famous.

I haven't seen anything recent from him but what I gather is he's cashed in on a certain niche market. He has a lot of racial/cultural humour and thus brings in a hugely diverse following. The majority of my non-white friends seem to love his shit.

Similar to how that hack Larry the Cable Guy branded his humour for the blue collar audience and how Jeff Dunham appeals to uh.. who the fuck knows.. People that like puppets and the easily amused perhaps?

you got it. all the russell peters fans i know are some shade of brown.

Patrice is like the comic version of Achilles in Troy.

Could you please unplug yourself from the Vietnamese matrix for five minutes please. Oh Patrice.
