An animated short of Louis C.K. dealing with issues from his father. From my old studio.

I love this short. Did you animate on this? Who directed it, did Aaron?

What was Louis's involvement after recording and writing it?

I'd love for Louis to do some animation on Louie, it'd really take the surrealism up another notch.

I'd prefer something more Clampett inspired, though, or perhaps Ed Benedict/UPA/Tom Oreb, like that Lenny Bruce cartoon.

I didn't work on it. Aaron and whoever his team was at the time did. They did this way before I came on. It would be cool to see something Ed Benedict based. A lot of stand-up routines translated to animation never look that great. They need to be more short form based, with a script and what have you.

I agree.

I totally understand Louie now.

Especially his boat captain obsession.

HEY LOUIS CK... ITS RAININ

ITS RAININ LOUIS CK

Well the explains a lot. Wonder why he doesn't put his father in his comedy act?

Louis dad: Your going to be a comedian louis? I never thought you were very funny.

This looks like the Comedy Central show, Ugly Americans.

Aaron Augenblick. Same guy.

Looks like this is an early version. The finished version is on Louis CK's own youtube channel.

I liked the original better.

Me too, except the music in the final version I quite like.

Probably done by the same guy who does the Robert Smigel cartoons.

Aaron Augenblick. Same guy.
