Aside from the obvious reasons for hoping this isn't true, I was just listening to the David and Bobo compilation on YouTube yesterday - I forgot how hysterical everything involving David was.
I don't think it's accurate, FWIW, for the reasons mentioned already - he's cut off contact from everyone from the show (from how it sounds), so I doubt some random fan would have news on him.
What are the reasons already mentioned? I never understood why David cut off all contact with the show. I assumed his parents heard something and banned him from ever contacting the show ever gain.
I was talking about the posters who mentioned that it seemed fake since there was no link, etc.
For why he cut off contact - he appeared once after the internship, about a month after it ended (I think Burr was there that day - I'm 99% sure it's on YouTube. From what Sam said on one after show where they played Intern David clips, he cut off contact because he thought the show clips online, and the reputation he developed from the show, was keeping him from getting a job in radio.
I really, really hope something changes and he comes back - a Retarded Laverne and Shirley vs. Bobo and David show would just about definitely be the greatest thing that's ever happened in the history of the world.
Because he didn't realize they were treating him like a Bobo until he was off the show for awhile.
When he is a part of the show in any capacity, he has to face the fact that he's bordering on being mentally handicapped, and that just doesn't work with his ego.
